PickWheel does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
PickWheel is a decision spinner that ships with eighteen ready-made wheels and lets you build your own, so you can settle a choice with a flick instead of a debate. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.
None. We have no way to receive information from you: the app never sends anything anywhere. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, and no telemetry of any kind. There is no account and no sign-in, so there is nothing to register and nothing to log in to.
For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:
None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.
The release build of PickWheel requests no Android runtime permissions and no iOS permissions. It does not ask for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or storage. The INTERNET permission that Flutter adds during development is declared only in the debug and profile build variants and is not present in the release build you install from the store.
PickWheel is fully offline. It contains no HTTP client, no socket code, no WebView, and no third-party SDK that could open a connection. Every feature — including the charts on the History screen and the badge shelf — is computed on your device from your own data. The app behaves identically in airplane mode.
None are integrated. PickWheel uses only the Flutter framework and open-source Dart packages that run locally on the device — local database storage (hive), state management (flutter_bloc), charts (fl_chart), animation (flutter_animate), and the system share sheet (share_plus). None of them contact a server on the app's behalf. The one place PickWheel hands data to another app is the Share button on the Profile screen: tapping it opens your operating system's standard share sheet with a short sentence about the app. Nothing is sent until you choose a destination yourself, and the shared text contains no personal information beyond your spin count.
PickWheel is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, so there is no personal information to handle differently for children. It does not knowingly — or unknowingly — collect data from users under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K), because it collects no data from any user at all. There is no advertising, no in-app purchase, and no user-to-user communication.
Your data is yours and it is already entirely in your hands. Delete a single spin by swiping it away on the History screen, clear the whole spin log with the delete button in the History header, or delete any wheel from the menu on its row in the library. Uninstalling PickWheel removes the local database and everything in it; because nothing was ever copied off the device, uninstalling is a complete erasure. There is no data export or deletion request to make of us, because we hold nothing.
If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
