// Gamdom is an offline film diary and watchlist where you rate what you watch, note where and when you saw it, and keep a queue of what is next.
[01] Information collected // inputs
None. Gamdom has no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no telemetry of any kind. Nothing you type is sent anywhere. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server.
[02] Local storage // on-device
Kept in OS-level local storage on your device, never uploaded:
- Viewing diary — for each logged screening: which film, the date, your rating, where you watched it (cinema, streaming, disc, TV, in transit), whether you marked it as loved, whether it was a rewatch, and any note you wrote.
- Watchlist — the films you queued, when you added them, and the urgency you assigned.
- Titles you add yourself — title, year, director, genre, runtime, one-line pitch and mood tags for any film you enter by hand.
- Badge unlocks — the date each milestone was reached.
- Your viewer card — the display name and one-line bio you set, plus the date you first opened the app.
- Preferences — rating style, poster artwork style, default venue, yearly goal, and the display switches on the Settings screen.
Uninstalling the app deletes every byte.
[03] Permissions // runtime
Gamdom requests no runtime permissions. It does not ask for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or storage. The Android manifest declares android.permission.INTERNET, which Flutter includes by default and which the debug tooling requires. The released app contains no networking code and makes no network requests — the permission is declared but unused.
[04] Network // egress
Gamdom is fully offline. It has no HTTP client, no WebView, no sockets, and no backend. It works identically in airplane mode. The bundled catalogue of 65 films ships inside the app itself and is not personal data.
[05] Third parties // vendors
None are integrated. Gamdom uses only open-source Flutter packages that run locally on the device — local database storage (sqflite), local preference storage (shared_preferences), state management (flutter_riverpod), charts (fl_chart), animation (flutter_animate), and the system share sheet (share_plus). None of them contact a server on the app's behalf. The share button hands a short summary of your own statistics to your device's system share sheet, at your explicit request; what happens next is governed by whichever app you choose to share into. Gamdom itself sends nothing.
[06] Children // coppa/gdpr-k
Gamdom collects no data from anyone, of any age, so there is nothing to disclose under COPPA or GDPR-K. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no external links or user-to-user communication.
[07] Your rights // you
Because your data never leaves your device, you already have complete control of it. Diary entries can be edited or deleted individually from a film's detail screen, watchlist items can be swiped away, and titles you added yourself can be removed from Settings. Uninstalling Gamdom deletes the database and preference store, and with them every record the app ever held. There is nothing for us to access, export, or erase on your behalf.
